This Privacy Policy explains how (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use the Reverse Image Search mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
When you run a search, you choose a photo from your device or camera. The photo is sent securely (encrypted in transit) to our servers so the search can be performed.
Search results consist of links and thumbnails of images that are already publicly available on the internet and indexed from third-party websites. We do not store the results of your searches, and we do not keep a history of what you searched for.
We do not keep a record of your searches on our servers. Any recent results you see inside the App exist only on your device during your session and are cleared when [you close the App / you clear them].
If the App offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We may receive limited information from Apple (such as whether a subscription is active) to provide paid features.

Because facial data may be considered biometric or sensitive information under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), Texas and Washington biometric laws, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), we ask for your explicit consent before your first search. You can withdraw consent at any time by stopping use of the App; since we do not retain photos or face data, nothing further needs to be deleted.

These providers process data only on our instructions, only for the purpose of providing the service, and are not permitted to keep or use your photos for their own purposes.
Search results may link to external websites that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Please review their privacy policies before sharing information with them.
The App is intended for lawful purposes, such as finding where your own photos appear online, checking for impersonation or catfishing, or verifying image sources. You must not use the App to stalk, harass, threaten, identify people without a lawful reason, or otherwise violate anyone’s privacy or the law. We may block access for misuse.
Because we show images that are already public on third-party websites, the best way to remove an image permanently is to ask the website hosting it to take it down. If you appear in our results and want a specific link removed from our App, email us at [contact email] with the link, and we will review and act on your request.
All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Uploaded photos are processed in memory or temporary storage and deleted immediately after processing. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect data while it is being processed.
The App is not intended for anyone under [18] years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the App, please contact us.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent. Since we do not retain your photos, face data, or searches, we typically hold no personal data about you to return or delete. You can still contact us with any request, and we will respond within the time required by law.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Significant changes will also be announced in the App.
